A team that leads the project from idea to maintenance
Companies need a partner that understands the business process, designs the solution, and takes responsibility for its development after launch. The Astrafox software house brings together developers, analysts, testers, and architects. The team leads the entire project or joins the client’s specialists.
Anyone can use AI today, but not everyone can lead a serious business project. We understand architecture, software engineering, performance, security, and the delivery of complex projects: systems that serve many users, connect to several other systems, and need to operate for years.
We start with the objective, users, and system environment. We select the technology later, once the functional, integration, security, and maintenance requirements are clear.

Who works on the solution
Analysts
They organize objectives, processes, user roles, data, and requirements. They separate the features needed at launch from those that can be built later.
Architects
They design the application structure, integrations, permissions, and the way the solution operates in the client's environment.
Developers
They build applications, services, and connections to existing systems. They work in stages so that completed components can be reviewed regularly.
Testers
They verify features, integrations, and user scenarios. Acceptance testing by the client confirms that the solution is ready for launch.
Business knowledge remains with the client, while the Astrafox team translates it into project and technical decisions. Regular progress demonstrations quickly reveal differences between an assumption and how users actually work.
Three collaboration models
Turnkey project
The Astrafox team is responsible for analyzing, designing, building, testing, and launching the agreed solution. This model suits an organization that wants to entrust the entire software development process to one partner.
Dedicated team or extension of the client’s team
Selected roles join a project run jointly with the client’s team. The scope covers development, analysis, testing, or architecture, depending on the skills and responsibilities needed in the project.
Development and maintenance
We take over the development of an existing application or keep the team in place after implementation. The scope covers agreed fixes, updates, monitoring, request handling, and new features. We define maintenance terms and service levels for the specific system.
How we develop software
- Problem and objective analysis. We determine what needs to change in the users’ work, which systems participate in the process, and where the main risks lie.
- Scope and user experience. We organize requirements, priorities, and user journeys. Wireframes make it possible to test assumptions before development begins.
- Architecture and integration plan. We define the solution components, data flows, permissions, environments, and responsibility for each element.
- Iterative development. We deliver working components and demonstrate progress. Feedback is prioritized according to its impact on the project objective and scope.
- Testing and launch. We test features, integrations, performance, and the security requirements arising from the project. Launch can include data migration, documentation, and user preparation.
- Maintenance and development. After launch, we monitor the agreed scope, handle requests, and develop the application as the organization’s needs change.
AI in software development
We use AI in the team’s daily work: requirements analysis, writing and reviewing code, creating tests, refactoring legacy applications, and preparing documentation. This allows us to deliver subsequent versions faster and devote more time to architecture, security, and quality.
Code prepared with AI support follows the same process as any other code: developer review, automated testing, quality and security analysis using SonarQube and OWASP Dependency-Check, and the CI/CD pipeline. We select AI tools so that client code and data are not used to train models.
If a client does not want AI to work with its code or data, we deliver the project without using AI. We establish this at the start of the engagement.
A fuller discussion of each stage is available in the article Software development from idea to finished product with a software house.
Technologies in which we have the most experience
We specialize in the technologies and tools below. This is not a closed list: when the client’s environment or project requires it, we also work with others.
- Programming languages: C#, Python, T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server procedures and functions), JavaScript, TypeScript.
- .NET platform and backend: .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, WebForms, Windows Forms, Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, Office API.
- Frontend: Vue.js, Angular, React, Nuxt, jQuery, HTML, XHTML, CSS and SCSS, Bootstrap, AJAX.
- Integrations and data exchange: REST API, SOAP, XML, Swagger.
- Databases: relational—Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite; nonrelational—MongoDB.
- Testing: NUnit, xUnit, Moq.
- Version control, CI/CD, and work management: Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, TFS (Team Foundation Server), SVN, Jira, Trello, MS Project, MS Visio.
- Security: SonarQube, OWASP Dependency-Check, JWT, OAuth, Basic Auth, SSL/TLS.
Our working methods—Scrum, sound engineering practices, and CI/CD—are described in Software house technologies and methods.

Technology selection depends on the existing environment, the skills of the maintenance team, security and performance requirements, and plans for future development. The technical decision therefore follows the project’s conditions, not one default platform.

Security is part of the project
Since the company was founded, we have followed the Security by Design principle: security is considered at every stage of software development, not only after the work is complete. As we design the architecture, select technologies, and write code, we continually consider how to protect application data and features against unauthorized access and failure.
Protecting data, including personal data under the GDPR, and ensuring reliable operation are as important to us as delivering the required features. We prefer to spend additional time eliminating potential vulnerabilities and testing thoroughly rather than expose users to future problems.
We address access, data, integration, and business continuity requirements during analysis, architecture, and testing. The scope depends on the system, data, and client environment.
Astrafox holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate no. 4802510. Its scope is precisely: “Software development and implementation.” The certificate is valid until December 19, 2027.

When a project combines software, data, cloud, and processes
A single application often spans several areas. The software house team then works with Astrafox specialists from other disciplines:
- AI: existing language models connected to data, rules, and the application interface. AI makes recommendations; a person approves them.
- Data & Business Intelligence: data preparation, process measurement, and reports embedded in the application or analytics environment.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: environments, cloud migration, maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery within the scope defined for the project.
- AMODIT and Process Automation: when the primary need is a workflow for documents, tasks, and decisions, the AMODIT low-code platform accelerates development. Custom code then complements the process where a custom interface, logic, or integration is required.
This combination makes it possible to compare several implementation paths: a ready-made system feature, AMODIT configuration, integration, and custom code.

Frequently asked questions
When should a company choose a software house instead of an off-the-shelf system?
When the process, interface, or integration is specific to the organization and an off-the-shelf system would require numerous workarounds. During the analysis, we also check whether configuring an existing product or using the AMODIT platform is the better choice.
Can you join our IT team?
Yes. The collaboration model can include a dedicated team or selected roles that complement the client’s team. We establish responsibilities, reporting, and tools before work begins.
Do you work only on new applications?
No. We develop and modernize existing solutions, build integrations, and take responsibility for an agreed maintenance scope.
How does the client control project progress?
The work is divided into stages and iterations. Working components are demonstrated regularly, while tasks, feedback, and decisions follow an established recording process.
Does ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification cover all Astrafox services?
The certificate states the scope as “Software development and implementation.” We do not extend this wording to BI, AI consulting, or hosting. The security scope of each service and the responsibilities of the parties are defined separately.
