Suspicious transaction detection system

A large transaction set is analyzed using several algorithms to identify operations that require verification.

Challenge: control over the complete transaction set

Manual review of a large number of financial operations made it difficult to apply criteria consistently and prepare the information required for further assessment.

Solution: several algorithms and one report

Astrafox built a system that analyzes every financial transaction using several algorithms. Operations that meet defined criteria are marked as suspicious and included in a report prepared for Poland’s General Inspector of Financial Information (GIIF).

Outcome: a list of operations that require review

The team receives a structured list of transactions that require attention instead of reviewing every operation in the same way. The report supports further control and management of the organization’s obligations.
