Client portal

Self-service portal for the agriculture sector

A farmer submits an application from a phone or computer, and validated data enters the AMODIT process without retyping.

Challenge: a surge of applications during a short season

Application and contracting deadlines follow the crop production cycle and formal requirements. Paper applications and emails reached administration within a short period. Employees checked data, clarified errors, and retyped information into the internal process system.

Returning clients entered the same data every year. Supporting people who managed several farms or agricultural companies added another layer of difficulty.

Solution: self-service connected to AMODIT

Astrafox built a portal available on computers and smartphones. A client enters identifiers, and the system connects the application with historical farm data. Formal fields are validated as they are completed.

The portal provides:

  • support for several farms under one account,
  • reporting of crop species and field areas,
  • ordering of additional services,
  • validation of contact details and registration numbers,
  • visibility into application status and the assigned coordinator,
  • reuse of data from the previous season.

After form submission, the portal starts the appropriate workflow in AMODIT. The system generates agreement and power-of-attorney templates and assigns an advisor under the process rules.

Outcome: seasonal service without retyping data

A returning client completes only the information that changed. Validation reduces the number of errors discovered later by administration. Data enters the AMODIT process without manual retyping, while the client checks the current case status at any time.

The solution relieves administration during the peak application period and lets the team focus on the cases themselves.

Technical details

The portal is a responsive web application integrated with AMODIT. Forms validate data, support multiple farms, and retrieve previous information. The integration transfers the submission to the process engine that manages the subsequent workflow.

Frequently asked questions

Does the portal replace AMODIT?

No. The portal is a convenient self-service layer for clients, while AMODIT manages the internal case process.

Can a client manage several farms?

Yes. A user switches between farms and submits separate applications for each one.

Application portfolio for a large energy group

Challenge
The retail location network and headquarters needed tools for many separate processes: settlements, claims, waste, incidents, invoices, and reporting. Off-the-shelf products covered only part of the requirements and were difficult to connect to SAP.
After implementation
A set of tailored applications has operated for years in one environment, with shared login, SAP integrations, and SLA-based support.
