Test Snowflake with your company’s data
A Snowflake Proof of Concept (PoC) is a limited project that tests the technology on a selected subset of data, estimates costs, and lays the groundwork for a potential implementation. We run the PoC as a Snowflake implementation project.
Snowflake is a cloud-based SaaS service for storing and analyzing data. It separates storage and compute resources, supports multiple query languages, and integrates with many data sources.
What does a Snowflake PoC include?
- a general presentation of the technology;
- selection of a data subset;
- configuration of the Snowflake environment;
- data integration and migration;
- development of test cases and metrics for the PoC criteria;
- execution of tests;
- assessment of security and compliance with company standards;
- cost analysis and an estimate for a potential implementation;
- preparation of the PoC report.
The PoC results provide the evidence needed to decide whether to proceed with a Snowflake implementation.
How do we get started?
Describe the data sources, current environment, and questions the test must answer. Based on this information, we will define the PoC scope and assessment criteria.
