Low-code is an approach to application development and automation in which much of a solution is built by configuring forms, rules, roles, data, and process diagrams. It reduces the amount of code required for typical changes, but it does not eliminate design or technical work. Integrations, security, performance, and nonstandard logic may still require programming. Low-code works well when processes change frequently and an organization wants to develop them in stages.
