Cloud migration is the process of moving applications, data, and infrastructure components to cloud services. Its scope can cover an entire environment, not just a single server. Before a migration, teams need to inventory dependencies, network traffic, security requirements, backups, licenses, and authentication methods. They then design the target environment, perform a trial migration, test its operation, and prepare the cutover and rollback plan. Simply changing the location does not automatically provide better availability or lower costs. Astrafox migrates complete environments to Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS and then maintains them.
