Tableau Cloud
Your business intelligence platform in the cloud.
Among the various types of software, including business intelligence, an increasing number of producers are moving their services to the cloud or, while maintaining an on-premises service, are offering cooperation in the Software as a Service model as an alternative.
This approach has a number of advantages, the most important of which is that we can use the tool without having to maintain and service our own server environment while retaining all of its functionality.
The cloud version of the Tableau platform is a tool proven by thousands of satisfied customers that has been building its position in the market since 2013 under the name Tableau Online. The year 2022 brought a name change and a set of new features that we now know as Tableau Cloud.
Tableau Cloud is all about the unique versatility and flexibility of working.
By choosing to work in Tableau’s cloud environment, you may:
- Eliminate the cost of maintaining physical or virtual servers – the tool is fully hosted by Tableau.
- Tableau Cloud operates on a SaaS model – instead of buying expensive endless licences, you have access to a flexible and cost-effective subscription.
- Low entry threshold and negligible risk – you can run the entire environment as a fully functional 14-day trial and then use it yourself with a single licence at a cost of $840.
- Security and full access control – when sharing content with other users, you need to provide them with named licences. But you can only do this if you know how many of these licences you will actually need. Named user licensing allows you to manage access to Tableau Cloud content at multiple levels, for example, using your organisation’s Active Directory structure.
- Flexible working model for report building – report authors can choose to use Tableau Desktop or a twin solution that is accessible via a web browser.

Tableau Embedded
Uploading reports into dedicated applications and websites for your clients.
Tableau is constantly evolving to meet market expectations. We’ve had the ability to embed reports into applications since 2017, but now it’s even easier thanks to the use of the JavaScript API and the new embedded licensing model. Now you can deliver valuable information to your customers and get products to market faster.
How does Tableau Embedded licensing work?
The Tableau platform allows you to focus on your product, saving you time, money and resources to build your application.
- Allow your programmers and engineers to focus on their areas of expertise and improve your product without spending time on analysis.
- Keep up to date with your competitors. In a world where data is constantly being explored, provide your customers with insight into your data with easy-to-use, advanced visual analytics.
- Allow your customers to ask questions by using Tableau’s built-in capabilities (filters, actions, parameters, etc.).
- Authentication options. Choose your preferred single sign-on method – with SAML, OpenID, Kerberos or Tableau trusted authentication.
Tableau Licensing and Pricing
Tableau Licensing
For a number of years, customers have been reporting an increasing demand for data access for people in different roles within the organisation. These range from advanced analysts, through business users who make data-driven decisions and need complete information, to report recipients who only monitor results. The new licensing models are therefore based on user roles.

The use of Tableau
Tableau in the organisation
Tableau is a highly flexible and intuitive tool. It has extensive visualisation capabilities and can connect to any data source. This makes it ideal for organisations across a wide range of industries and can be used in any department within an organisation. Below are some examples of finished reports created in Tableau.
Tableau in distribution
The aim of the report is to provide a visual presentation of the distribution structure for particular regional chains. The basic element of the analysis is the identification of the wholesalers with the largest sales volume in regional chains and the proportion of numerical distribution that this volume represents. Tableau in controlling
An essential part of managing a company’s cash flow is reporting on accounts payable. See an example of a management dashboard in Tableau to control these receivables at different levels. View the report >>
